Refreshers Course

We recognise that many students pass their driving test during their late teens or early 20's and, for various reasons, do not have the opportunity to drive regularly after passing. Our refresher driving courses aim to provide drivers with the confidence to drive again after a break. We personalise all of our courses to meet your specific needs and can range in duration from two hours onwards until you feel comfortable driving independently once more.

Automatic Car Refresher Course

“As part of the UK’s plan to cut carbon emissions, new petrol and diesel cars will be banned from 2030. All Electric and Hybrid cars are Automatic - so everyone will be driving automatic in the next few years. Automatic cars are generally easier to drive and control, which is why people usually choose auto transmission over manual. In an Automatic car the gear changes are done automatically and there’s no clutch pedal to worry about. Call us to book Automatic Refresher Driving Lessons TODAY”

Have any Questions?

If you have any questions about our services or driving lesson availability. Feel free to call us or contact us on WhatsApp. Here are some answers to some of our most frequently asked questions

The DVSA states that the average learner in the UK needs between 20-30 lessons in an Automatic car  before passing their driving test. It all comes down to how well you take the information in from lessons and how quick a learner you are. Everyone learns to drive a car at a different pace.

The DVSA highly recommends that you take lessons from an Approved Driving Instructor. If your friend or relative teaches you they must be over 21 years of age and have held a Full UK Licence for at least 3 years. It's worthwhile remembering that learning with a friend or relative means you could pick up their bad habits. Your instructor will advise when they feel you are ready to gain additional experience by going out with a friend or a relative. Remember their car may not have the safety of dual controls.

  • You must have a Provisional Licence
  • You can apply for a provisional driving licence quickly and easily online from Directgov or by completing the D1 application form available at most Post Offices
  • All applications made by filling in the D1 form will also require original documentation to be sent to the DVLA to confirm your identity
  • The minimum age, which you can legally, drive a car on the public roads is 17

Yes. If you're in a hurry to pass your driving test then our Intensive Driving Course is an extremely popular  choice with students. The test can be arranged at the end of the week for a learner with some experience or 2-3 weeks later for complete novices.

2 hour driving lessons offer a more comprehensive, personalised, and cost-effective learning experience compared to shorter or longer lessons. They provide the perfect balance of instruction, practice, and personalised attention to ensure that students are able to learn effectively and safely
