I did a 20 hour intensive course but he was flexible with timings so I didn’t have to do 5 hours every day. He was patient and thorough. I was able to learn quickly. I was able to change my driving test last minute, Hera scheduled in several hours before my test day. I'm very grateful, Hera was great, I was able to pass first time!

He always pointed out what I was doing well, helped me work on the areas that needed improvement, and kept encouraging me along the way. Very good instructor, I have done only 5 revision lessons with my instructor and I have passed the Ipswich test, it has many roundabouts and junctions, but the teacher was very calm and teach me how do it properly. How many lessons do you need to pass?

The DVSA states that the average learner in the UK needs between 20-30 lessons in an Automatic car before passing their driving test. It all comes down to how well you take the information in from lessons and how quick a learner you are. Everyone learns to drive a car at a different pace.

Can I pay in Instalments for Driving Lessons or an Intensive Driving Course?

Yes you can pay in instalments for either packages when using Klarna. Billie or ClearPay (subject to their terms and conditions).

Can I pay cash for the Driving Lessons on the day?

You can pay online via credit or debit card through a secure payment gateway. We do not take cash payments on the day of the lesson.

Do you teach Intensive Driving Courses?

Yes. If you're in a hurry to pass your driving test then our Intensive Driving Course is an extremely popular choice with students. The test can be arranged at the end of the week for a learner with some experience or 2-3 weeks later for complete novices.

Where will I be picked up from for my driving lesson?

The driving instructor will normally pick the student up from around the Ipswich area. This can be arranged with the instructor prior to the lesson date. The drop-off can also be arranged prior to the lesson.

What is your Cancellation Policy on Driving Lessons?

We understand that there may be instances where you may have to cancel a lesson. We require 48 hour notice prior to the lesson date (applies to regular 2 hour lessons). Failure to do say may incur the student paying the full cost of the lesson.

For an Intensive Driving Course we require a minimum 10 working days to reschedule a lesson day. Failure to do say may incur the student paying the full cost of the days lesson.

What do I need to do before I can start taking lessons?

You must have a valid UK Provisional Drivers Licence
You can apply for a provisional drivers licence quickly and easily online from Directgov or by completing the D1 application form available at most Post Offices
All applications made by filling in the D1 form will also require original documentation to be sent to the DVLA to confirm your identity
The minimum age, which you can legally, drive a car on the public roads is 17

Why are your driving lessons a minimum of 2 hours?

2 hour driving lessons offer a more comprehensive, personalised, and cost-effective learning experience compared to shorter 1 hour lessons. They provide the perfect balance of instruction, practice, and personalised attention to ensure that students are able to learn effectively and safely

Do I need to Pass my Theory Test before booking driving lessons?

No you do not need to pass your theory test to start taking driving lessons. You only need a Provisional UK Driving License to start. You can begin lessons as soon as you have your provisional license, and many people find that practical experience helps with studying for the theory test.
